In addition to the regular concentrations, students have the option to custom design their own program with faculty advisers. Students would design a Plan of Study (with prerequisites and electives) with the relevant faculty advisers and then get their Plan approved by IDPC. This gives students the freedom to mix and match with faculty guidance.
We have given two examples of Custom Concentrations below: Physical Biology and Healthcare Engineering. Each draws their prerequisite courses from a broad set of departments. These are just illustrative examples to indicate what is possible; all programs would have to be passed by the IDPC.
